Manchester City will face Liverpool FC in the headline clash of the FA Cup quarter-finals following Monday’s draw.
In another key matchup, Arsenal FC will travel to play Southampton FC as the London side continues its push for multiple trophies this season.
Elsewhere, Chelsea FC will host Port Vale FC, the League One club that shocked Sunderland AFC with a 1–0 win in the fifth round.
The final quarter-final will see Leeds United face the winner of the tie between West Ham United and Brentford FC.
The standout fixture is the clash between City and Liverpool. Pep Guardiola’s side has already beaten Liverpool twice this season — 3–0 in November and 2–1 at Anfield in February.
The two teams last met in the FA Cup in 2022, when Liverpool won a thrilling 3–2 semi-final.
Liverpool have won the competition eight times, most recently in 2022, while City — seven-time champions — last lifted the trophy in 2023.
Meanwhile, Arsenal reached the quarter-finals after beating Mansfield Town 2–1, and Mikel Arteta’s side will now face Southampton, who pulled off a surprise 1–0 win over Fulham FC in the previous round.
