Prosecutors in Los Angeles said 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz allegedly fired several shots at the luxury property on Sunday.
Images captured from the air after the incident showed bullet holes in a gate at the home. The property is shared by Rihanna, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children.
Investigators say a Facebook account believed to belong to Ortiz contains several videos and posts mentioning celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Cardi B, along with Rihanna.
In one post, the suspect reportedly tagged Rihanna and challenged her to respond directly instead of, in her words, “sneaking around.” In another video, she claimed the singer was trying to harm her.
Ortiz now faces multiple charges, including one count of attempted murder. She is also charged with ten counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, two counts of shooting at an occupied home, and one count of shooting at an occupied vehicle.
A court ordered that she be held on bail set at 1.875 million dollars. She was also instructed not to contact Rihanna.
Ortiz is expected to return to court on March 25.
