The Beverly Hills home of pop star Rihanna was targeted in a shooting on Sunday.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department said they responded to reports of gunshots at about 1:15 p.m. local time. Police later found a suspect and took the person into custody.
A police official confirmed that the house involved belongs to Rihanna. Investigators also found assault rifle shell casings at the scene.
Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. A law enforcement source reveals that Rihanna was inside the house when the shooting happened.
Police said the suspect, believed to be a woman in her 30s, stopped her car outside the property and fired seven shots before driving away.
Her vehicle was later found about eight miles away from the singer’s home, where officers arrested her. Authorities have not yet released her identity.
