In a statement, the refinery said the coastal price of petrol was also lowered by ₦122, dropping from ₦1,150 to ₦1,028 per litre.
The company also announced a reduction in the price of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel), which has been cut by ₦190, from ₦1,620 to ₦1,430 per litre.
According to the refinery, the price adjustment reflects its effort to keep fuel prices in line with changes in global crude oil markets while maintaining a fair pricing system.
The company said the decision was influenced by the recent decline in global crude oil prices and is part of its commitment to transparent and responsive pricing for consumers in Nigeria.
