Wendy Williams Is All Smiles amid Legal Battle with Wells Fargo
Wendy Williams has been in the news a lot lately. From not returning to her show, as of yet, and a legal battle with Wells Fargo, the 57-year-old has been the talk of the innanet.
Though she’s become a trending topic, Wendy is still all smiles. On Sunday night,TSR exclusively obtained photos, showing the talk show vet spending time with the fam and enjoying Super Bowl festivities, according to sources.
If you recall, the Jersey native was spotted in December of 2021 with a Versace robe, leaving a wellness center. While walking to the vehicle, Wendy told the cameras she was “doing fabulous.”
As you know, the mogul is currently in a legal battle with Wells Fargo. The banking institution alleges that Wendy Willams needs a guardian to handle her financial affairs. On Saturday, the veteran talk show host issued a statement denying those claims.
TSR obtained a press release from her lawyer LaShawn Thomas, Esq., and it states that she “strenuously denies all allegations about her mental health and well-being.” The statement goes on to say that Wells Fargo refuses to honor the power of attorney, which is her son. “Wells Fargo has refused to honor her Power of Attorney, granting her son authority to make inquiries to the bank on Wendy’s behalf.”
The press release also says, “Wendy wants you to know she is fine; she is of sound mind and disappointed about falsely circulated statements from an industry she has devoted her life to.” Since her hiatus from the show, “Wendy has employed holistic health professionals to help her reach optimal health during her treatment of Graves’ disease and thyroid concerns,” the statement states.
As previously reported, Wendy Williams did not return back to host season 13 of “The Wendy Williams Show.” She last signed off in July of 2021. The season was first delayed last fall due to Wendy having COVID-19. Since airing in September, there have been several guest hosts, including Fat Joe & Remy Ma, Sherri Shepherd, and more.
