Two Stabbed on First Day of Shops Reopening After Lockdown
Two people have been stabbed at a Marks & Spencer store in Burnley just hours after the lockdown ended and shops in England reopened.
Both victims are currently being treated for serious injuries, but officers have said they aren’t life-threatening. They were called to the store, on St James Street, at 9.25am this morning.
The suspect is currently being held in custody, and no one else is believed to be involved in the incident, Lancashire Police reported.
