Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, recently announced plans to replace Twitter’s iconic Blue Bird logo with an X. He revealed this during the weekend, hinting that more changes will be introduced to the popular social networking platform in the near future. Musk conducted a poll on Twitter, asking his millions of followers whether they would prefer changing the site’s color scheme from blue to all-black. Additionally, he shared a picture of a stylized X against a black outer space-themed background on the platform.

The decision to make these adjustments comes after Musk disclosed that Twitter’s advertising revenue has decreased significantly, resulting in negative cash flow and a high debt load for the company. Some analysts, like Mike Proulx from Forrester research, believe that the move might alienate Twitter’s original and dedicated user base, while others see it as a signal of a new direction with a different user base.

Twitter’s new CEO, Linda Yaccarino, has expressed excitement about the changes, stating that X will take the platform further and transform it into a global town square. However, as of now, the replacement of the Blue Bird logo with an X is yet to be visible on the website.
