Tristan Thompson’s Mom, Andrea died on Thursday in her Toronto home after suffering a heart attack.

A source tells us that Thompson’s mother went into cardiac arrest and could not be resuscitated. We’re told her death was “unexpected.”

According to TMZ, who first reported the news, Andrea was at her home on Thursday when she suffered the heart attack and was rushed to a local hospital where medics tried to resuscitate her to no avail.

Thompson, 31, and ex Khloé Kardashian, 38, took a private jet from Los Angeles to Toronto to be with his family, sources told the website.

Our source added that Kardashian will be supportive of Thompson and by his side during this time of difficulty as he is the father of her two children. They co-parent 4-year-old daughter True and just welcomed a son via surrogate in August.

Following her sudden passing, Kris Jenner posted a tribute to Andrea, sharing multiple shots from Kardashian’s baby shower when she was pregnant with True, as well as birthday celebrations.

“I am so heartbroken by the sudden passing of Tristan’s mom, Andrea. My thoughts, prayers and all of my love are with Tristan, Amari, Dishawn and Daniel,” she captioned her Instagram post.

“You were the most amazing, dedicated, devoted, and selfless mom and such a loving, kind, and fabulous grandmother. What a blessing you were to your family!!! I will miss you Andrea.
