Tory Lanez Detained For Alleged Marijuana Possession At Las Vegas Airport
Rapper Tory Lanez was recently detained at a Las Vegas Airport for marijuana allegedly found in his bag.
According to TMZ, Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, was stopped on Sunday (May 1) when he was in the middle of boarding a flight before a TSA agent allegedly found a large amount of marijuana in one of his bags, law enforcement confirmed.
While recreational weed is legal in Nevada, it is not legal federally, and it’s not permitted to fly with the drug. TSA temporarily detained the Alone At Prom artist but soon let him go.
It’s unclear if Lanez will face charges for attempting to board a flight with marijuana in his bag, but the investigation is ongoing.
