Nigerian track and field athlete, Tobi Amusan, has been charged with an alleged doping violation by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU). Amusan, who recently won the Gyulai Istan Memorial Women’s 100m Hurdles in Budapest with a record-breaking time, denies the accusation and asserts herself as a “clean athlete.”

She intends to fight the charge and will have her case decided by a tribunal of three arbitrators before the World Championships in Budapest next month. Amusan asks for privacy while she addresses these allegations during her upcoming arbitration.
