American rapper Ricky Hawk popularly known as Silento has been indicted over the murder of his cousin, Rooks.

The rapper’s cousin was found dead earlier in the year after sustaining gunshot injuries.

The music star was on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, indicted by a grand jury on four charges: malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Silento was first arrested in February 2021 in connection with his cousin’s murder.

His cousin was found in the roadway, suffering multiple gunshot wounds. Rooks was pronounced dead at the scene.

Silento rose to prominence in 2015 after the release of his hit single “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)
