Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi, 31, was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend but she is denying that he ever touched her.

His girlfriend said in a statement, “Oh wow. This is cap. Dade County y’all are wrong for this. I told you guys he did not hit me. Every officer you guys had in my face is wrong for this. No hands were put on anybody, I stated it more than once. It was a loud argument and the police were called. You guys turn nothing into something. It’s our son’s [sic] first birthday tomorrow, what’s wrong with y’all?”

Reports also claim he was arrested Tuesday in Miami, Florida after a dispute over a woman the rapper followed on social media. The outlet claims cops said the girlfriend, who is the mother of his child and not named, claimed Slim left their house and returned smelling like alcohol, “The alleged victim told cops when she attempted to move their sleeping child from his playpen to a bed, Slim pulled her hair so hard her extension was ripped from her scalp.”

Cops also claim he chased her around their home after he tried to record him, and when she ran into a room and closed the door, he broke the door down. Slim supposedly threw the phone over a balcony.

Bond was set at $1500, according to PEOPLE.

Slim Jxmmi has not released a statement about the arrest.
