Prince Harry Arrives At the Funeral of Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip
The Duke of Sussex appeared in a procession with other members of the royal family at today’s ceremony.
The Duke of Sussex was in attendance for the funeral of his late grandfather, Prince Philip, at Windsor Castle today.
Prince Harry’s appearance marks the first time he has returned to England since stepping down as a senior working member of the royal family along with his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
The duke appeared alongside other members of his family, including his father Prince Charles, and older brother, Prince William, in a procession following a custom Range Rover (co-designed by Prince Philip before his passing) carrying the Duke of Edinburgh’s casket.
For the ceremony, Prince Harry appeared in a black suit, as the queen decided that no royal family members should appear in military dress for the event.
The Duke of Sussex did however, wear his KCVO Neck Order and Star, Afghanistan Campaign medal, Gold Jubilee medal, and Diamond Jubilee medal pinned onto his blazer. Both Prince Harry and his grandfather shared a connection through their time serving in the British Armed Forces.
