On Tuesday at dawn, a vast number of pilgrims made their way from the Saudi Arabian valley of Mina to Mount Arafat, marking a pivotal day of the Hajj pilgrimage. This significant day involves engaging in supplication, seeking forgiveness, and listening to sermons.

The pinnacle of the annual Hajj, this intense day of worship occurs at the location where Muslims believe the Prophet Muhammad delivered his final sermon, emphasizing the importance of equality and unity among Muslims.

Muslims view prayer on this day at Mount Arafat, situated approximately 20 kilometers (12 miles) east of the holy city of Mecca, as a crucial opportunity for salvation and spiritual rejuvenation.

The Hajj is an obligatory pilgrimage undertaken once in a lifetime by all physically and financially capable Muslims, following the path traversed by the Prophet Muhammad over 1,400 years ago.
