Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie’s birth certificate was edited to remove his mother’s name and only include her title, but she was not the one who requested the change.

This was confirmed by her representative who disputed the report that Megan Markle had “taken the unprecedented action of removing” her first and middle names, Rachel Meghan, from the document so that it included just her title, “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex,” under the “mother” category.

The spokesperson added that the change was orchestrated by the Palace, as confirmed by documents from senior Palace officials and not requested by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex or by The Duke of Sussex.

However, the Buckingham Palace has not made any official statement as regards this.
