Meghan Markle will not be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast anytime soon and recently shared why she’s staying away from reality TV.

Speaking with guest of the show Andy Cohen, on the Tuesday (Nov. 29) episode of her podcast Archetypes, the Duchess of Sussex responded to Housewives fans’ past comments that she would be a good addition to the RHOBH cast after moving to Montecito, Calif.

“You mean really that this is my audition for Real Housewives of Montecito? Is this the moment?” she asked Cohen, laughing.

Cohen responded, “You don’t have to audition. We’ll build the show around you. How about that?”

To which Markle clarified, “There will be no reality show.”

The 41-year-old admitted that she was a Housewives fan but that she paused watching the show after her own life’s drama became in the spotlight.
