Megan Thee Stallion Previews New Song At Coachella
Megan Thee Stallion brought the house down during the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The Houston hottie served up hits like “Savage,” “Big Ole Freak,” and “Girls in the Hood” for the packed crowd before previewing a new song she said was “very personal” to her.
As she commanded the crowd, Meg dedicated the song “to whom it may the f—k concern” before launching into some vicious bars over the beat of Jodeci’s “Freakin’ You” remix.
Many fans speculated Meg’s new song was directed at Tory Lanez, who was charged with one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle after Megan claimed he shot her in her feet in July 2020. Prosecutors said Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, “personally inflicted great bodily injury” against the Houston rapper.
While Meg has called out Lanez before over the incident, her Coachella performance seemed to take direct aim at the Canadian singer. If convicted on all charges, Lanez could be sentenced up to 22 years in prison.
