Mambacita Apparel Line Honoring Kobe Bryant’s Daughter, Gianna Gets Sold Out On First Day

A new apparel line called Mambacita that honors the life and legacy of Kobe and Vanessa Bryant’s daughter, Gianna, quickly sold out the same day it launched. The concept was created in partnership with a woman-owned apparel company called Dannijo.
When asked why Vanessa decided to partner with Dannijo, she commented,
“Gianna was kind, energetic, a leader, and had so much Mambacita swag. When I thought about who would help me capture her laid-back yet girly edge, I thought of female-owned @Dannijo. Two fun-loving sisters running a successful clothing line, they jumped on the opportunity to celebrate Gigi’s birthday with us, completely pro-bono.”
Their limited-edition tie-dye sweat set capsule collection accurately captured Gianna’s spirit in every little detail – even the placement of #PlayGigisWay on the right arm of each hoodie, which was her shooting arm. Gianna was especially motivated to change the way everyone viewed women in sports, and it’s fitting that this capsule represents her values.
“Her passion, warmth, and kindness continue to remain in our hearts and minds and continue to guide Lil Mabacitas and Lady Mambas throughout the world,” says Danielle and Jodie Snyder, the founders and owners of Dannijo.
100% of the proceeds from the collection will support the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, which is dedicated to creating a positive impact for underserved athletes and young women in sports.
