Judge Place Tory Lanez On House Arrest Following August Alsina Assault
A Los Angeles judge has placed Tory Lanez on house arrest for assaulting August Alsina of which he pleaded not guilty.
A Los Angeles judge has placed Tory Lanez on house arrest stating that the artiste had violated the terms of his bail following allegations of assault made by August Alsina, TMZ Confirms.
Lanez is facing assault and weapons charges after allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
Lanez would be placed under house arrest, starting this Friday, October 28, until the next court date. The trial is currently scheduled to begin on the morning of Monday, November 28.
However, he is not currently facing criminal charges in Illinois as a result of the alleged altercation.
While he faces charges for allegedly assaulting Megan, Lanez has had his bail increased multiple times in the past, including for making a surprise appearance at Rolling Loud Miami 2021 before Megan Thee Stallion performed, and also for discussing her on social media.
