Grammy Awards to Hold April 3rd in Las Vegas
It is with great aplomb that we announce that this year’s postponed Grammy Awards show has now been relocated to Las Vegas with a new date of Sunday, Apr. 3.
As reported by Variety, the 64th annual celebration will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena from 8:00 – 11:30 p.m. ET / 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. PT on the CBS Television Network and will be streamable live and on demand on Paramount+.
Trevor Noah, host of the Emmy Award-winning The Daily Show, will return as master of ceremonies for “Music’s Biggest Night.” The CMT Awards, which was originally scheduled for that same day at that venue, will now be moved to a later date in April.
Additional details about the dates and locations of other official Grammy Week events, including the Premiere Ceremony, the MusicCares Person of the Year benefit concert, and the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala will be announced shortly.
Now with the show heading to Sin City, the 17,000-seat MGM Grand Garden Arena is a prime location and practical option for the Grammys’ return. Last November, the Recording Academy held the Latin Grammys there, so all parties know how much of a viable option the venue can be. Plus, the space has the benefit of being relatively uninhabited by other events or people since foot traffic has been siphoned off by the new T-Mobile Arena in the area.
According to the MGM’s website, there are no public events between a John Mayer concert on March 11 and Nick Cannon’s upcoming tour, which takes place more than two months later on June 25.

We are humbled by their generosity and grateful for their unwavering commitment to the GRAMMY Awards and the Academy’s mission.
Sources are saying that all parties are hoping for a full show with a live audience.
The 2022 Grammy nominee list is led by Jon Batiste with 11 nods, followed by Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and H.E.R. with eight apiece. Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo followed with seven nominations each.
