Cardi B has gone for a bold new look as she celebrates the success of her new single Up.

On Instagram the rapper revealed she had ditched her long black hair and gone for a bright pink pixie cut.

In a video the 28-year-old showed off her designer Chanel outfit as she walked down a set of stairs, lifting her sunglasses at the last second.

She wrote ‘Up and it’s stuck’ in the caption – a lyric from the chorus of her new song.

The WAP rapper gave fans a closer look at her new ‘do on her Instagram Story as she filmed herself talking to camera on a car journey with up playing in the background.

A further clip showed Cardi running a hand over her short hair with a message reading: ‘Pink hair always gets freezy’.

Up has been yet another hit for the star after the single WAP, featuring Megan Thee Stallion, which came out last year.

Recently asked to explain what the song means, the Bodak Yellow rapper used a bizarre comparison to get her point across.

That didn’t stop its success on the charts. After it shot to number two (funnily enough) on Billboard, Cardi thanked her fans on Twitter writing: ‘Just landed and my wifi back poppin. I want to say thank you to all my fans and supporters. This is BIG for me.

‘I wanted to beat my last solo single number & I over succeeded. First time a female rapper debuted in the top 5 since Lauren. This is pop girl s**t but I’m not pop.’
