Blac Chyna Ready To Battle The Kardashians In Court
Blac Chyna is looking forward to having her day in court against the Kardashian/Jenner family. In an update on Saturday (April 2), Chyna tweeted that she’s becoming laser-focused on the upcoming “trial against Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim, Khloé, and Kylie,” just 13 days away.
A legal battle between Chyna and the reality TV family, the Kardashians, is expected to head to trial later this month. Chyna sued the family for defamation and economic interference after her reality series, Rob & Chyna, was canceled. The show documented the relationship between the singer and her ex-fiance, Rob Kardashian, Vanity Fair reports.
“When they got my No. 1 hit show killed back in January 2017, that not only hurt me financially and emotionally, that hurt my beautiful KIDS,” her statement continued.
According to PEOPLE, Chyna, 33, shares daughter Dream, 5, with Rob, 35, and son King Cairo, 9, with Kylie’s ex, Tyga, 32, according to PEOPLE.
“I’m taking them to court to stand up for my legal rights and be an example to my kids that ‘what’s right is right, wrong is wrong.’ And what they did was so wrong. I am so thankful that a jury will finally listen to what really happened behind closed doors — the lies that were told and the damage that was done.”
Chyna alleges that she suffered damages after Rob leaked nude photos of her on social media. Along with the Kardashian family’s influence, that incident resulted in their reality TV show getting booted off the air.
In 2018, the court rejected the Kardashians and Jenners’ request to dismiss the case.
