BIA has been making headlines in the past week following her comment about Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido during Nicki Minaj’s Instagram live video.

Although she is still busy promoting “Whole lotta Money” Remix with Nicki Minaj, she appears to be making headlines again. Penned as the industry’s next big thing, fans dug deep into her personal life and found some photos of her.

A tweet that went viral suggested that she’s “not Black,” and the rapper felt as though she needed to clear up the confusion with her ethnicity before it gets out of hand.

She wrote, Very aware of my roots guys. My grandparents were born in PR and migrated to NY. Puerto Rican’s come in many different colours and race is different from ethnicity OF COURSE we have tiano, African, and Latin blood, Very proud to be Afrolatina and Italian.”

You would recall that BIA got backlashed after she denied being familiar with Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido last week. This earned her a response from Burna Boy, who noted that BIA has been loitering in his DM since 2018.
