The family of late South African rapper AKA, has announced the release date of his posthumous album “Mass Country.”
The family of late South African rapper, Kiernan Forbes, best known as AKA, has announced the release date of his posthumous album “Mass Country.”
The press statement confirmed that the album would be released on February 24, 2023, as earlier scheduled by the rapper before his tragic death.

AKA was shot dead on Friday night in a drive-by shooting on Florida Road while he was standing outside the Wish Restaurant. His family announced his passing in a statement on February 11 via his Instagram page.
However, South African police stated that the evidence gathered leads them to believe that the killing AKA was an assassination.
AKA is to be buried on Saturday, and a public memorial service will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Sandton convention center in the main city, Johannesburg, his family stated.
