As of August 2, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 6,746,085 while over 46,413,600 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 171,029 and  5,900,014  people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases: 2,456,184 and 72,191 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (629,717), Tunisia (595,532), Egypt (284,311), Ethiopia (280,565), Libya (256,328) and Kenya (203,680).
