A Previously Unheard Song from ‘Songstress’ Adele Gets Leaked, Emerges Online’
A previously unheard song from Adele has reportedly been leaked ahead of her highly-anticipated fourth studio album.
The clip is said to be a demo from her album 25 in 2015, and the accidental release has prompted concern over the security of her new music.
The songstress’ distinctive voice can allegedly be heard singing the lyrics: ‘Forget about who’s winning, baby. You better hope he’ll find it in him, maybe, to forgive the sinner he’s made you.’
‘Adele’s campaigns are always shrouded in secrecy and that is what made her return in 2015 so exciting.
‘There was real hype to hear her voice again and everyone rushed out to buy her record.
‘But if her next album leaks it could be disastrous. It could have a dent on her sales figures and also taint her entire return to music.’
Worrying: The clip is reportedly a demo from her album 25 in 2015, but the release is said to have raised concern over the security of her new music (pictured in 2017)
The insider added the singer’s team are doing everything to prevent any further leaks.
Adele’s new album reportedly won’t be about heartbreak – or her divorce from Simon Konecki.
The yet-to-be-titled album – her first in six years and expected to be released in 2021 – is said to have ‘a different sound’ to her previous endeavours, which have typically been about romance and break-ups.
‘Heartbreak has helped Adele shift records over the years but this split is quite different.
‘They’re both aware their son Angelo should be protected and that’s why Adele has agreed not to sing about their relationship.
‘Her new album will have a different sound anyway, so it hasn’t bothered her too much that Simon quietly expected her to keep their relationship out of her music.’
Adele and Simon announced they were going their separate ways in April 2019, with Adele filing court documents five months later.
The singer’s representative said in a statement in April 2019: ‘Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.’
It was reported by Us Weekly, that Adele and Simon filed the terms of their divorce settlement with the court on Friday, January 15.
Although Adele and Simon have finished their work to finalise the divorce, the marriage won’t officially be ended until the judge signs off on the paperwork.
