A Glimpse at the royal coaches for the Coronation of King Charles III
For King Charles III’s coronation on May 6, two golden coaches will be used by the King and Queen Consort.
King Charles III and the Queen Consort will use two golden coaches during their coronation on May 6.
The Diamond Jubilee State Coach will take the royal couple to Westminster Abbey, while they will return to Buckingham Palace in the Gold State Coach.
The newer coach has air conditioning and a modern suspension. The route of the coronation procession has also been announced.
