Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage name Rema, is a Nigerian singer and rapper who has made it into the Guinness World Records.

The internationally popular song “Calm Down” by the Benin-born musician created history by becoming the first No. 1 Hit on The Official MENA Chart, the first regional streaming chart in the history of the planet.

In a recent statement on its website, Guinness World Records recognized the artist for accomplishing the historic feat.

Rema was honored for achieving the first number one hit on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region’s first-ever official chart as well as the world’s first regional streaming chart, according to the statement.

When the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) introduced the MENA Chart on November 29, 2022, Rema’s “Calm Down” debuted at No. 1.
