As Ciara prepares for the release of her new single “Jump,” she signs an exclusive deal.

According to Billboard, the deal is with Republic Records and Uptown Records and partnering with her Beauty Marks Entertainment label.

On Friday (July 8), Ciara, 36, will be releasing her Coast Contra-related single “Jump.”

“I am thrilled to partner with Uptown/Republic Records through my label imprint Beauty Marks Entertainment,” Ciara said in a press statement. “[Republic co-president] Wendy [Goldstein] and I have been in discussion to work together for some time and the enthusiasm that she and the entire team have expressed over this new project marks an exciting new chapter in my career. I am grateful to be able to continue my mission of making the world dance with a team I admire, who are at the forefront of empowering artists.”

Ciara’s last work (Beauty Marks) was released in 2019 and featured her viral single “Level Up.” The album was independently released through her Beauty Marks Entertainment imprint.

“In terms of our generation, Ciara is a G.O.A.T.,” says Saint Harraway, Republic Records/Uptown Records executive VP of A&R. “She’s inspired countless artists and continues to captivate audiences worldwide. It’s an honor to be able to work with her on this next season.”

Her debut album Goodies was released nearly 18 years ago and featured the hit songs “1,2 Step” and the album’s title track, “Goodies.”
