Global tech company, Google, marks its 23rd birthday today.

Celebrating the milestone, a special Google Doodle of a chocolate cake graces the homepage of the Menlo Park, California-based multinational technology company.

A Google Doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google’s homepages intended to commemorate holidays, events, achievements, and notable historical figures of particular countries.

Officially launched in 1998, Google Incorporated is the brainchild of Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

Its most popular product, Google Search, has risen to become the most used search engine on the web.

Other products from Google include Chrome, Gmail, Meet, PlayStore, Maps, YouTube, Photos, Docs, Excel, and a host of many others.

Taking to its verified Twitter page, Google Doodle says, “Happy 23rd Birthday, @Google!”

Celebrating Google’s giant strides in the world of cutting-edge technology, the tweet adds: “Starting as a prototype in the dorm rooms of two computer scientists, Google now answers billions of queries from users worldwide in 150+ languages.
