2 Sao Tome and Principe Fishermen Rescued In Bayelsa
Two fishermen, Antonio Sabino and Osorio Pires from Neves in Sao Tome and Principe, were rescued after being lost in the Atlantic Ocean for five days. They were found by a trawler in the Gulf of Guinea and handed over to local fishermen in Okpoama-Brass, Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
The fishermen, who speak Portuguese, were later handed over to the Divisional Police Officer and efforts are being made to reunite them with their families with the help of the coast guard officer from Sao Tome and Principe.
