‘Vaccines are not good’ claims Tanzania president

Whilst decrying vaccines, Tanzanian President John Magufuli has said no lockdown is planned in his country because God will protect people from COVID-19.

The president has dismissed the benefits of the vaccine, he said steaming will be better than the vaccine.

His view contradicts global scientific advice from the World Health Organization.

Africa is still struggling to secure enough vaccine for over a billion population.

His speech is not the first time he will cause a controversy during the coronavirus pandemic, he previously told the people to pray the virus away.
