Obinna Nwafor, a beloved veteran actor in Nigeria’s Nollywood industry, widely known as Saint Obi, has sadly passed away. The talented actor, aged 57, breathed his last on Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Jos, Plateau State. It is reported that he passed away at the residence of one of his siblings.

Sources indicate that a disagreement among his siblings resulted in the delay of nearly a week before his death became publicly known. The exact cause of his demise remains undisclosed as of the time of this report.
Following his passing, Saint Obi’s remains were entrusted to the morgue at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH. It is worth noting that the actor had recently relocated to his sister’s home in Jos prior to his demise.
