Megan Thee Stallion has clinched the title of TikTok’s most popular artist in 2020!

On Wednesday Dec. 16, TikTok released its first-ever end-of-year music report, highlighting the biggest music trends and major success stories of 2020. With eye-catching choreography, Megan’s breakout TikTok hit “Savage” helped her reign supreme as a top TikTok artist. 

Her “WAP” feature for anthem with Cardi B also became a viral clip on the social media platform, garnering 1 billion video views in just three days, Entertainment Weekly reports. 

“I’m always trying to figure out, ‘How can I be better than Hot Girl Meg? How can I be better than Tina Snow? How can I be better than Megan Thee Stallion?’,” Megan said in an interview on “Big Boy’s Neighbourhood.” 

“I’m always in competition with myself because that’s how I feel like I’m going to grow. Iron sharpens iron. I feel like I’m the iron sharpening the iron.”

Megan’s most recent singles on the app include “Captain Hook” and her latest popular hit “Body” off of her debut album Good News. 

Other top 10 artists on TikTok included Pop Smoke coming in at No. 3, DaBaby at No. 4, Roddy Ricch at No. 5 and Lil Uzi Vert at No.10. Top 10 songs include “Toosie Slide” by Drake, “Say I Yi” by the Ying Yang Twins and “Mood Swings” by Pop Smoke.
