Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand hospitalized with an undisclosed medical issue
The former Man U ace, 42, tweeted a snap from a hospital bed as he watched Manchester United’s shock 5-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.
The England defender did not disclose what medical issue he was receiving treatment for.
He wrote: ‘These 60 mins have sent me to A&E… FFS.’
The Red Devils were thrashed with goals from Naby Keita and Diogo Jota followed up by a hat-trick from the in-form Mohamed Salah to seal off the commanding victory.
After the game, Ronaldo said: ‘Sometimes the result is not the one we fight for. Sometimes the score is not the one we want.
‘And this is on us, only on us, because there’s no one else to blame. Our fans were, once again, amazing in their constant support.
‘They deserve better than this, much better, and it’s up to us to deliver. The time is now!’
