The world of showbiz was left in shock earlier this year when it was announced that Kim Kardashian had filed for divorce from her husband Kanye West, after seven years of marriage and four children.

Although Kim hasn’t publicly spoken about the shock split, as the final ever series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians hits our TV screens, Kim’s mum Kris Jenner has broken her silence on her daughter’s personal life.

Speaking to The Kyle & Jackie O Show, 65-year-old Kris said, “I think it’s always going to be hard anytime, you know, there’s a lot of kids.

“The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and supportive and we love each other very, very much, so all I want is for those two kids to be happy. And I want the kids to be happy. That’s the goal.”

Despite the Kardashian family being known over the years for documenting every detail of their lives on their E! Reality show, it sounds like Kim’s recent divorce won’t play out during the final series.

Kris added, “I think it’s just a private time. Kim wanted to deal with this with her own family in her own time, so when she feels like it I’m sure she’ll say what she needs to say.”

However, during the opening episode for the 20th series of KUWTK, Kris and Kim’s sister Kourtney Kardashian were filmed talking about Kim’s drama.

On the show, Kris told Kourtney, “I know she doesn’t want to talk about it on camera, but I just feel like she’s struggling a bit,” before adding, “I don’t know how she’s dealing with the stress of it all.”
