The ‘DONDA’ bulletproof vest is said to have been worn by Ye at his album event in Atlanta

Kanye West’s one-of-a-kind signed ‘DONDA’ bulletproof vest has sold as part of an NFT package for $75,000 at a Christie’s auction.

The vest itself was worn in August by Ye during his album listening party in Atlanta and has the DONDA logo hand-painted on as well as being signed by Kanye reading “MBD” which stands for “My Body Different”.

The sale was highly publicized as it was selling the vest and a one-of-one NFT which was billed as a3D “digital representation” of the vest that was minted by Ethernity.

The vest, as reported by Complex, sold for $20,000 and was said to have originated from a security guard who received it as a gift from Ye. The same buyer then resold it at Christie’s auction with the NFT.

As part of Christie’s larger Handbags x HYPE: the Luxury Remix sale, other items sold include a complete collection of Off-White Nikes designed by the late Virgil Abloh for over $62,000 and a set of Yeezy 350s for over $37,000.
