Harry Kane Free To Face Arsenal Amid Fears
With many having the opinion that Spurs has once again failed in their bid for the tittle after loosing two games in a row with a loss to Burnley, followed by a poor performance against Chelsea that saw them drop points again and even making their once comfortable third position on the premier league table shaky.
With the return of Star striker and highest goal scorer for the club this season “Harry Kane” back from injury, fans will be hoping for a turn around of results and not the speculation that he may be missing the north london derby against Arsenal.
Harry Kane will not face any punishment following an incident with Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta on Wednesday.
England captain Kane, 25, appeared to move his head towards the Spaniard in an incident during Chelsea’s 2-0 Premier League win at Stamford Bridge.
Kane was not punished at the time and, as the incident was seen by officials, no further action will be taken.
Tottenham host Arsenal in the north London derby on Saturday.
The incident took place after Chelsea kicked the ball out of play to allow Spurs’ Kieran Trippier to receive treatment.
Kane pressurised Chelsea defender David Luiz when Tottenham returned the ball. Luiz complained to Kane and captain Azpilicueta confronted him before the pair were separated by Luiz.
Kane has scored 20 goals in 35 games for his country. He has appeared and scored at every youth level, and made his senior debut in March 2015 at age 22, where he scored on his debut. Kane featured and scored at the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier, before he was selected as the squad’s captain from May 2018, prior to the 2018 FIFA world cup In the tournament, Kane led England to fourth-place, their highest finish since 1990, by finishing as the top goalscorer, and won the golden boot.
