FG of Nigeria Pleads For Patience Over Fuel Subsidy Removal
The Federal Government of Nigeria has urged citizens to bear the short-term difficulties resulting from the removal of fuel subsidies, assuring them of improved living standards in the future.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, reiterated the government’s commitment to the welfare of Nigerians while acknowledging the possibility of mistakes.
During a visit by the North Central People’s Forum (NCPF), led by Senator Jeremiah Useni, Akume sought advice and prayers, expressing pride in their association. The Chairman of NCDF’s National Executive Committee, Eng Sani Ndanusa, encouraged Akume to take political control of the North Central zone and attract key appointments to the area. The delegation included prominent figures from the region.
