A new TV spot for Fast & Furious 9 has shifted into fifth gear and arrived online.

Led once again by Vin Diesel’s iconic Dom Toretto, the movie welcomes back franchise favourites Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron and Dame Helen Mirren too.

Elsewhere, rapper Cardi B’s mysterious character has also been revealed – the rapper is playing Leysa, “a woman with a connection to Dom’s past”.

Directed by Justin Lin (his fifth time working in the Fast universe), the official synopsis reads: “Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Lefty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most.

“His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (played by The Suicide Squad’s John Cena).”

As you can see from its first trailer, Fast 9 furiously burns rubber all across the globe in locations such as Tokyo, Edinburgh, Central America, London, Azerbaijan and Tbilisi
