Everton’s Italian striking prospect Moise Kean
Everton’s Italian striking prospect Moise Kean, who joined French giants PSG on loan towards the end of the international transfer window, could find himself remaining in the French capital on a longer-term basis.
Kean is still seen by the Everton hierarchy as having a long-term future at Goodison Park. Despite this, reports by France Football via Sport Witness claim the Italian starlet is available for just €20m if PSG wish to activate their option to buy the player. This figure is around €10 million less than the sum that was paid by Everton to acquire the player.
Kean has failed to fulfill his potential at Goodison Park thus far, managing only four goals in his career as a Toffee. He arrived on Merseyside with high expectations following his transfer from Italian giants Juventus.
“Pep Guardiola on almost signing Messi”
As a result, the hierarchy at Goodison Park deemed a move to France to be a ripe opportunity for Kean to revitalise his promising career.
The activation of this option is very much form-dependent, with Kean competing with Mbappe and Icardi for striking game-time. Consequently, Kean serves more of a rotational role with the French giants and fans of the Toffees should see no major cause for concern at present – though this is of course subject to change.
Should the club staff at PSG view Kean’s performances on and off the pitch as favourable, the option may prove to be too enticing to refuse despite PSG’s formidable quality in attack.
