The former US president will reportedly fly to New York on Monday and stay at his Trump Tower in Manhattan overnight ahead of his planned arraignment on Tuesday.

Donald Trump is set to talk in Florida on Tuesday night after his booked arraignment in New York on charges connected with quiet cash installments to a pornography star before the 2016 political decision.

After returning from Manhattan, where he is anticipated to voluntarily surrender, his campaign stated that he would deliver “remarks” at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

As the first former US president to face criminal charges, the 76-year-old politician is expected to be arraigned, fingerprinted, and photographed on Tuesday at a Manhattan courthouse.

The Associated Press reported that in the indictment that a Manhattan grand jury handed down last week, Trump, a candidate for president in 2024, is facing a number of charges, including at least one felony offense, of falsifying business records.

A grand jury decided to indict him for possible crimes connected to a $130,000 (£105,000) payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during the campaign for the 2016 presidential election.

In return for Daniels’ silence regarding an alleged sexual encounter she claimed to have had with Trump a decade earlier, it is alleged that it was made.

As is customary in New York prior to an arraignment, the indictment itself has remained sealed.

In televised interviews on Sunday, Mr. Trump’s attorney Joe Tacopina stated that when he receives the indictment, he will analyze it and determine the next steps in the legal process.

He stated that it was premature to discuss whether he would file a motion to dismiss or request a change of venue, even though defense attorneys frequently do both.

He stated on ABC’s This Week, “We’re way too early to start deciding what motions we’re going to file or not file, and we do need to see the indictment and get to work,” adding, “We do need to see the indictment and get to work.” Look, this is just the beginning.”

Before his scheduled arraignment on Tuesday, Trump will fly to New York on Monday and spend the night at his Trump Tower in Manhattan.

He is anticipated to show up early on Tuesday morning to the courthouse, where he will be fingerprinted and have his mug shot taken.

Mr. Tacopina stated that a deal reached between Trump’s legal team and Manhattan prosecutors means that he will not be handcuffed when he surrenders.

Media try to let cameras in at Donald Trump’s hearing in court. After that, investigators will fill out the paperwork for his arrest and see if the former president has any outstanding warrants or criminal charges.

After the booking has been completed, Trump will appear before Justice Juan Merchan of the Manhattan criminal court for an afternoon arraignment.

In the same courtroom where Trump’s real estate company was found guilty of tax fraud last year, Judge Merchan also presided over a criminal trial, but the former president was not charged.

On Friday, Trump slammed Judge Merchan, claiming that he despises him and treated the Trump Organization “viciously.”

Yet, on Sunday, Mr Tacopina evaded inquiries concerning whether Trump’s group will look to have another adjudicator relegated.

“This judge doesn’t bother me at all. Mr. Tacopina stated, “He has a very good reputation.”
