Cardi responded to the news by saying she was looking forward to her second album and thanking her fans. “AMAZING…can’t wait for my second album [heart emjoi].” She continued, “Thanks for all the love & support.”

The 2018 album has been making history since it debuted. According to Billboard, the 29-year-old’s sophomore album was also the first woman rapper to secure “its 200th week on the Billboard 200 is the latest on a long list of milestones Cardi’s reached over the past five years” back last month.

Cardi also has the most-streamed rap album from a woman in Spotify history, and she was also the first woman rapper to win a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 2019.

Cardi also “has two Diamond-certified singles as a lead artist, “Bodak Yellow” and “I like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, as well as an additional Diamond plaque for her appearance on Maroon 5’s smash hit, “Girls Like You,” Billboard reports.

Speaking of Cardi, a few weeks ago, she showed us a glimpse of her son and people on social media had a lot to say.

Responding to the negative comments, she tweeted, “How people mad cause people was asking me to see my son and I replied?” She continued, “It seems like I can’t do or say nothing these days without people getting irritated. Maybe i should delete my social medias or just die cause wtf.” The mother-of-two continued to say, “If I post is cause I want attention, If I speak my mind is cause I want attention, if I post a pic I want attention, I’d talk about my kids which I’m wit everyday is cause I want attention…Like wtfff”

Congrats, Cardi!
