President of operations; New Orleans Pelicans, David Griffin does not feel Anthony Davis has played his final game for the franchise. A recent conversation with agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, the firm that represents Davis made Griffin optimistic. Despite requesting a trade two months ago, Griffin feels the disgruntled six-time All-Star is “open to staying”.

Griffin said during his introductory press conference. “We have a long successful history with Klutch Sports “Rich Paul and I have spoken about Anthony. We are both excited about what we could potentially build here. “We certainly don’t want somebody here whose heart isn’t in it, but hopefully Anthony will have a change of heart, and if he does, we’ll welcome him back with open arms,” Benson said.

“We’d like for him to stay if everybody agrees to it.”
