In a shocking incident that has left the local community in mourning, a 43-year-old woman was tragically stabbed to death in Manchester, United Kingdom. The brutal attack, which occurred on Sunday night at a residence on Barnard Road in Gorton, near Longsight, also left her two teenage children critically injured. A 22-year-old man, believed to be her son, has been arrested in connection with the crime.
The victim, identified by the Greater Manchester Police as Alberta Obinim, was a well-known figure in the local community, affectionately referred to as “Mother for All.” Her sudden and violent death has sent shockwaves through the neighborhood, with many residents struggling to come to terms with the tragedy.
The incident unfolded around 11 p.m. when emergency services were called to the scene following multiple distress calls. Upon arrival, they found Obinim fatally wounded and her 17-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son suffering from severe stab wounds. The suspect, who has not yet been named by authorities, was swiftly apprehended by police at the scene. He is currently being held in custody for questioning on suspicion of murder.
