His soothing album debuts at No. 1 on the World Album Chart, making him the first Nigerian artist to hit No.1 with his album.

Wizkid also notches the largest sales for a Nigerian artiste. His Summer jam, Essence currently occupies the top spot as the N0.1 on R&B Streaming Songs and No. 1 on the World Digital Sales.

As expected, Wizkid’s fan bases took to social media to celebrate their fave and rub his achievements in the face of his counterparts. With Wizkid’s latest achievements and Essence’s recognition, it is safe to say Wizkid might win a Grammy in 2022.
