Everton are uniting with the Club’s three North West Premier League counterparts to support Hate Crime Awareness Week in Greater Manchester.

In collaboration with the Mayors of Greater Manchester and the Liverpool City region, and Greater Manchester Police and Merseyside Police, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City are standing against racism and all forms of discrimination.

Everton visit Manchester United for a Premier League match on Saturday and Liverpool host Manchester City the following day.

The Club strongly condemns any form of discrimination and stands together with its fellow teams from the region to reject hatred, racism and social media abuse in football and wider society.

Everton introduced its All Together Now campaign in December 2018 to embrace equality and diversity.

A statement jointly issued by the four clubs on Saturday read: This weekend the four Premier League clubs of Manchester and Liverpool play each other in our two city regions.

Today, Manchester United, Everton, Manchester City and Liverpool have come together to support Hate Crime Awareness Week in Greater Manchester.

Our four great North West clubs are united with the Mayors of Greater Manchester and the Liverpool City Region, and both Greater Manchester Police and Merseyside Police.

We condemn the racist abuse that too many players, officials and supporters continue to encounter, most recently on social media platforms.

We stand shoulder to shoulder in saying there is no room for racism, hate or any form of discrimination in our beautiful game.

It should not happen and it must stop.
