Five time world champion Lewis Hamilton finished in pole position at the opening Grand Prix of the season, with team mate Valteri Bottas in second as well as Ferraris Sebastian Vettel finishing third.

Red bull Driver Max Verstapen finished fourth with new Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc ending in fifth position.
Renault Driver Daniel Riccardo who drove for Red bull last season finished 12th.

The main Race will be held on Sunday.
