Lupita Nyong’o’s recovery from COVID appears to be moving in a positive direction after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler and his team were forced to shut down filming due to a COVID-19 outbreak onset.

ForeTVHubNews reported that the award-winning actress tested positive on Jan. 4.

Nyong’o headed to Instagram to update her fans on her recovery and showed off her Black Panther training in the process.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, there have been several delays to resume filming of the Black Panther sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Last August, Letitia Wright suffered an injury while filming a sequence that involved a stunt rig on-location. The production tried to film as much as they could without Wright while she healed in London but ultimately shut down production in late November.

Shooting has reportedly already picked back up in Atlanta for about four weeks, THR notes.
