Nigerian artiste, Ckay has received his first plaque for his global hit song, Love Nwantiti.

The TikTok anthem has been certified silver in the UK after selling 200,000 units.

Ckay took to his IG account to announce the exciting news for his fans and followers. It’s the second Nigerian song to have gone silver in 2021 with Wizkid’s Essence being the first.

After he shared the news, his friends and colleagues like Davido, Zlatan, flooded his comment section with congratulatory messages. American singer, Neyo, also congratulated him on his big win.

‘Love Nwantiti’ was released in 2019 and made a huge comeback in 2021 all thanks to Tiktok. It is the second song on Ckay’s first extended playlist, Ckay the first.
